A New Look For Julie! A Madelon Fun Find!

Today Madelon shares with us a fun look she put together for Julie using something she bought at Old Navy.

Interesting prints and shocking were popular in the 70's. Think Julie's patchwork top. This dress was an Old Navy baby top. She wears her meet belt and shoes.
Julie says this look is Groovy! Madelon has rolled up the sleeves so this outfit can be used by a baby or donated later. Such a wonderful fun find. Thank you Madelon!

Madelon's 1950's Inspired Doll Clothes Find

Madelon shares with us an outfit she has put together using items that she has in her collection already.
"My family has been buying Battat/Our Generation clothes for years. Some of  the modern dresses in their line that are marketed as modern apparel work as 1950's clothes as well."
Our generation has been using shrugs in their outfits for a while now and you can mix and match them. This outfit is called Mint Condition.
Don't you love the Peter Pan Collar?
Love everything about this outfit sadly though the sandals do not do up.
Check out your own Our Generation Section of your local Target and do check our own closets as well! Tag sales and yard sales are also a wonderful place to find older outfits for your dolls.
Thank you Madelon for sharing with us today!

Western Classic Madelon Fun Find Re-Purposed Outfit!

This is one of my favorite re-puroosed Madelon's doll outfits. Madelon has shared how she takes everyday baby outfits and makes them into wonderful doll clothes for a fraction of the price of what you would pay in store.

This western-style dress was a newborn baby top. I used pink bakery twine as a belt. The had was a pet hat!
The boots are from Target!
This is such a fun outfit! I know my nieces would love it!

Great Job Madelon!

Madelon's Zulily Fun Find! American Fashion World 18 inch Doll Outfit

Madelon recently made a purchase on Zulily and bought a brand called American Fashion World. today she shares her review with us.
The rayon fabric wrinkled easily and I would recommend ironing it.

Rompers are very popular this spring season and I love the colors and patterns in this one.
Madelon also purchased these very modern sandals for her dolls.
These are very fun little sandals.

This was a great buy and a truly wonderful fun find!
Thank you Madelon for sharing your purchase with us today!

Madelon's Great Idea For A Fun Summer Dress Or Bathing Top Cover

Madelon has made a cute no sew dress or bathing suit cover from a child's pair of leggings!
You can choose the length and make your dress a mini or maxi depending on where you cut the leggings.
Add some flip flops and some summer glasses and you are good to go to the beach!
Don't you just love the French Maccarons! Great pattern and fun find Madelon!
You can easily make your doll a Tankini top with this fun pattern as well!
Pair it with your favorite dolly swim wear bottoms like Madelon did!
