Create A Great Look For Lea With This Madelon No Sew Doll Clothing Idea!

No end in sight to Maelon's creative no sew doll clothing finds, this week my in box is full of truly inspiring looks for dolls for just pennies! Using a pair of baby pants, Madelon has created a tropical inspired pant suit look for her doll and using a child's hair clip pulled the look together!

The key to this look is the elastic waistband top and bottoms, simply by sliding the pants on the doll and folding the waist band in, creates the look!

The wide legs of the baby pants make this look truly authentic! Thank you Madelon for this fun find! We love this look on Lea!

This is a very well made and heavy wood play set! It was priced over $300. Lots of amazing details.

I love the little scoops of ice cream and the little pink roses on the plates.

The candy jar is plastic.

All set and ready for a friend!

This set has so many wonderful little details. Even the mirror has beautiful details.

The ice cream fits in the three containers under the cash register.

From the cones to the cash register this set has so many wonderful pieces and is a collectors dream!

No sew fashions for our dolls is one of Madelon's specialties, sometimes however baby clothes look just like baby clothes, however there are times that with the right eye you can find and re-purpose items like this outfit Madelon put together for Lea.

Using a 12 month baby top and the string from her AG bag Madelon has a lovely Coral colored look for her dolls!

Neon Fantastic No Sew Fun Finds! Madelon's Hawaiian Inspired Look!

I love the colors that spring and summer bring us, I especially love the neon colors (I was growing up in the 1980's) Today Madelon shares a baby dress and a girls necklace she bought that double as dolly summer fashions!

The dress is actually a 6 month baby size and it's lacy bottom ruffle creates a great Hawaiian look for her dolls. 

This very inexpensive children's necklace is a wonderful accessory for her doll as well! A fantastic fun find. Thank you Madelon for showing us this outfit you put together for your dolls. We love no sew fashions and your style!

Maplelea Helping Families Of Fort McMurray

Many of you have written and asked me how close I am to the very huge fire that is burning in Alberta and Saskatchewan, currently known as the Fort McMurray or Fort Mac fire. I am about 24 hours of drive time away. I am however following it closely as more then 100,000 people have been displaced and left with out not just a home but a community to go home too, currently it may be June before some of these people can return just to even see the damage that has been done to their community. 

Maplelea like many other Canadian companies is doing it's part to help people affected by this fire. For the next few days 25% of revenues recieved from the sale of the Canadian girl and Doll clothing line will be donated to the Save the Children Canada . Inspired by Kit Madelon Is Inspired To Re purpose A Pillow Sham Into A Quilt

Last week Madelon was at the AG store and she was compelled to look closer at Kit's quilt! 
"When I was at AG this morning, I noticed the sign and took a closer look at her quilt." The colors and the pattern are so sweet! 

When she got home Madelon remembered that she had a pillow shame that she was not using that would make a lovely doll quilt. Prepossessing and looking at things from a dolly perspective is such a wonderful idea. Thank you for sharing with us today Madelon.
