A Canadian Visit In Store With Linda P!

Great news from one of our readers! Linda P wrote in this week to share the following news and photos!

"The price of the AG dolls has dropped on Indigo's website..$139.00 now rather than $154.00, except Lea which I think is at $149.00 and Addy is clearing at $95.00 but in store so far. All of Addy's stuff is clearing for a considerable amount of $$ off in the actual store.
The website shows some of the new prices for the dolls....but they haven't changed the beforever title page but if you go to each doll the new price is there. The truly me dolls are also at 139.00 on the website.

"There are also random outfits on clearance, Rebecca's PJ's for 19 and Julie's patchwork outfit for 29.50 and Julie's hair style stuff."

"The new releases are there as well except Wellie wishers. Thought your readers might be interested in the price reductions because the stuff on the website could be ordered from kiosks, the shoes are so cute!"

Thank you Linda for sharing your photos and info with all of us today!

Madelon's Welly Wishers In Store Adventure

I love the Wellie Wishers line, I did not want to but I have to admit these lovely dolls have caught my eye! I think that this line of dolls which is geared for the younger doll loving girls has quite a bit of appeal as a collector as well. This one shown above Kendall is my favorite of them all.
These 5 friends are colorfully dressed and offer younger girls a great way to express themselves through creative play!
Madelon captured the excitement in store and kindly shared her photos with us.
The little foot prints through the store lead you to the Wellie Wishers Area!
This entire line is well thought out and has young girls hearts and minds!
I love the different boots!
Outfits!
Play area in store!
Playsets to purchase and take home!
There was even a fun take home craft!
These dolls have everything you love about doll play and done in a very American Girl Doll way! Thank you Madelon for sharing your photos with us today! I have good news for those of you living in Canada like myself, we are going to be seeing these dolls in store very soon at our American Girl stores!

Welcome back to week three of Karen Mom of Three's Craft Blog Dolly Summer School. This week we are featuring tutorials, patterns and ideas for your dolls horses!
One of my first activities for horses on Doll Diaries was this tutorial for a card board stable. Click here for the tutorial.
In 2013 for Camp Doll Diaries I had so much fun creating this play set for my dolls horse. I hope you will enjoy taking a look at how easy this is to do as a camp craft or rainy day activity. You can view the tutorial by clicking here.

I made these hay bales one year for my dolls horse and they are still being used by my nieces today! Click here for the tutorial.

Great Camping Set For Dolls From Lemon Bay Doll Company!

With Camping season upon us I wanted to highlight Lemon Bay Doll Company's great play set that includes a Doll Tent (that a doll can stand comfortably in!) 2 doll cots, picnic table and campfire pit! This fun set is priced perfectly at $139! This is one of the best deals for quality handmade play sets on Etsy right now!

The tent and cot frames are made with wood dowels and pegs -- our own variation on Tinker-Toy®. The dowel-and-peg construction makes assembly easy. Our tent and cots are made of sturdy white canvas. Tent edges and openings are finished with binding. Pretty white organza ribbon is used for tie-backs and closures. 18-inch dolls can stand in the middle of the tent and two dolls fit comfortably with plenty of room for backpacks and sleeping bags. In fact, the tent is so roomy that quite often we find our youngest IN THE TENT with her doll.
Dimensions of tent: L 23” x W 24” x H 22”

Our picnic table is handcrafted of pine and finished with our own homemade, non-toxic wax prepared with mineral oil and bees wax. It is perfect for meals at the campsite or a game of cards around the lantern in the evenings. Dimensions of picnic table: L 13” x W 7” x H 7” Dimensions of benches: L 12” x W 4” x H 4”

Check out all the fun and exciting summer themed doll furniture offered by Lemon Bay Doll Company by clicking here to visit their Etsy Shop.
