I had flunked my sewing class in Grade 8 more then 20 years ago but when my mother passed away in 2010 I was determined to do something creative to help me with my grief and I pulled out my long forgotten sewing machine and began to teach myself to sew, giving the doll clothing I proudly made to my 5 nieces doll clothing for Christmas.
That determination turned in to the best creative journey of my life and a little more then three months after my mother passed away I started this blog.
