February Events At The American Girl Store In Seattle

  One of my favorite things about the American Girl Stores are the events! If you are lucky enough to live near any of the US Stores you will want to check out the on going events they have! Often these events are FREE! Here is what is happening in store at the Seattle Store for February!

Girl of the Year
Grace’s Travel Tags
·         February 1: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
·         February 5: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
·         February 12: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
·         February 19: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
·         February 26: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Your girl can have fun preparing for her next adventure with this travel-themed craft, whether she’s trotting the globe or having a sleepover next door. At this event, she’ll craft her own girl-and doll-sized luggage tags—inspired by Grace’s travels!

Apron Craft & Cookie Decoration with Girl of the Year 2015
  • February 21: 9:00 a.m.  Tickets: $10 per person
Celebrate the sweet world of Grace—our 2015 Girl of the Year! Your girl will get a fun baker’s apron craft to decorate for herself and her doll. Plus, she’ll decorate for herself and her doll. Plus, she’ll decorate delicious cookies—just like ones Grace would make—and a cute bakery box for taking them home.

Play To Learn
Adorable Accents: Twists & Braids
  • February 7: 10:00 a.m.  Tickets: $28 per person
Your girl can learn tips and tricks for giving her doll a fun new look! She’ll get a hands-on lesson from our Doll Hair Salon stylists, who will show her how to create three playful styles using our Adorable Accents set made just for American Girl dolls. Plus, she’ll get to take the accents set home!

Memorable Moments
American Girl at Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella
  • February 28: 12:30 p.m.  Tickets: $65 per person
Treat your girl to a matinee performance of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, featuring some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved songs. It’s a delightful, contemporary take on the classic tale of a pumpkin, a glass slipper, an elegant ball, and of course, Cinderella. After the show, share a memorable dinner together in the American Girl Bistro. There’s also time for shopping and a visit to the Doll Hair Salon.

Meal & Memories with Dad
  • February 15: Available during bistro hours.  Tickets: $38 per person
Share a delightful day put with your daughter! You’ll enjoy a delicious meal, giggle over fun dice games that you can play over and over—like Story Switch-off. Roll-of-the-Dice Charades, and more—and make a colorful keepsake picture frame craft together. You’ll even have a Daddy-Daughter photo taken right at your table and printed for your one-of-a-kind frame. Reservations required; please call 877-247-5223, for girls 8 and up


Fun and Free
Bitty Baby at the Ballet Story Time
  • February 10: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 
Place your little girl in your lap and listen to a reading of Bitty Baby at the Ballet, a sweet story about a special performance and a bunny that hops with all her heart! Enjoy a fun activity together, too.

Valentine Card Craft
  • February 14: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 
Inspire your girl to give something extra-special to her Valentine: a cute handmade card and matching envelope! She’ll use stickers and decorative paper to make a one-of-a-kind card, then add a sweet message on the inside.


Addy’s Birdcage Craft
  • February 21: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 
  • February 22: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
In 1864, Addy loved to hear the hopeful songs of a sweet canary named Sunny. Your girl can make her own little paper birdcage with a canary inside to remind her of Addy’s stories.
