3 Science Inspired Items For 18 inch Dolls Etsy Favorites!

I loved the Magic School Bus TV show and books when my older son was younger and I came across this fun little outfit when I was looking on Etsy for something space related for my younger son. This made me so excited to see. I loved Ms. Frizzle the teacher and this is absolutely one of the outfits she would have loved to wear! This outfit is offered in NancysBigIdeas Etsy shop for $28 and has inspired today's post about Dolly Science Etsy Favorites. Click here to see the outfit and Nancy's Etsy Shop.

Our friends over at Paynestreet have also come up with a great set! For $125 you get this set with the chairs (AG doll and set sold through American Girl) click here for Payne Street's Etsy Shop!

I saw the Science set at AG and I loved the idea of the set. I think I may have to put it on my wish list. Let me know if you find anymore Science inspired Etsy play sets I would love to see them!

Ruthie's Bad Hair Day! Saved By Heads Up! Detangler from www.twinpines.com

Ruthie has been having a bad hair day for a very long time now and I was thrilled to get some Heads Up Doll Hair care System Detangler from Twin Pines of Maine (www.twinpines.com) and I made some You Tube Video's of the First time I actually used the product!

I used my dollar store spray bottle, my new American Girl Doll Hair Brush I purchased at the American Girl Doll Store in Vancouver as well some tap watter and the Detangler.

I am very impressed with how well this worked on Ruthie's Tangled hair and how easy it is to use, not to mention the fact that the smell is not strong like the fabric softener I have used to de-tangle doll hair in the past.
I recommend Heads Up Doll Hair Care System from www. twinpinesofmaine.com. This product was great and I love how Ruthie's hair is shiny and manageable now!  I can not wait to try it on my other dolls hair!

Jessica T Found A Great Idea for Making Doll Clothes!

Nest Full Of Eggs Photo
Jessica came across a blog post on a Nest Full Of Eggs and shared it with me to share with all of you! The best part of this blog post was that you can use new born diaper shirts to create night gowns or t-shirts for your 18 and 15 inch dolls.

Using second hand or on sale newborn diaper shirts is a great idea and I am thrilled Jessica shared this tutorial from Nest Full Of Eggs! I can not wait to zip up a few of these for my own dolls!
Thank you Jessica and Nest Full Of Eggs for this inspiring post! To see A Nest Full Of Egg's Original Tutorial please click here.

My Life As Stars and Stripes! A Madelon Fun find!

Madelon is getting ready for Memorial Day with this $9.97 outfit from My Life As at Walmart.

Comes with headband, top, skirt, red shoes....

the shoes are so cute! This is a good time to point out that no matter who makes the shoes if your dolls feet are not covered with white socks you will want to store them barefoot when not in play so you do not have to worry about color from shoes transferring to your dolls feet!
"The red stitching is a great touch and all the pieces are easy to put on and use with other outfits!"
Thank you Madelon for sharing this outfit with us today and we know many of you will keep your eyes out for this outfit and many of the other fun sets available at your local Walmart.

Bitty Twin Fun With Buttons Galore And More Laura Kelly Buttons!

My Niece Thea is over today and she wanted to make some thing with buttons and bows for her self and for our bitty twin Cheryl.
So I got out our ribbon and button stash. We love Buttons Galore & More Laura Kelly buttons for crafting!
We first chose a ribbon that Thea liked and created our bows we tied three matching bows. Next we selected two of the dolly hair bands we got from our dollar store and  Thea wanted hers on a bobby pin so we selected the one she liked best from my stash, it's a sparkle one.
We used our Aleene's Tacky Glue from I love to Create and selected light blue and red buttons from our multi pack we glued them together and thought they needed some sparkle so we added some small gem stones. We let them dry and then glued the ribbon to our dolly hair bands and slid the bobby pin arm through the button back and added more tacky glue. After they dried Thea let me put them in Cheryl's Hair and her bobby pin into her pony tail!
This was a fun and easy craft to do with my niece Thea who turns 4 next week!
Off to lunch now and Tea with Thea!
