Toys R Us Journey Girl Jack Pot!

Toys R Us is the home of the Journey Girls and Madelon hit the jack pot on a recent trip into her local Toys R Us store.

Journey girl's are lovely dolls but they are very popular right now for their furniture sets and accessories.

Their accessibility and price make their line one I am very happy to promote

 The sets are high quality and have lots of play potential!

One of my favorite pieces from their collection is this shelf!

They have new outdoor furniture sets and fun living room sets that wont break the budget and will fit very well in your dolls house!

they have fluffy fun pets too!

I also think they put together fun accent pieces and most everything  in htis set will fit an American Girl Doll.

Just becareful when buying the clothing sets as the Journey Girls are much thinner then the American Girl Dolls so clothing is not always a perfect fit, same with shoes!

The shoes are usually longer then an AG foot so keep that in mind when purchasing.

These dolls would make a lovely addition to your doll family so you may want to think about bringing them home to your doll lover this holiday season!

Happy Birthday To Anna, Duchess of Bedford, Creator of Afternoon Tea!

Today Madelon just let me know  is the birthday of Anna, the Duchess of Bedford who created the afternoon tea. I am a huge fan of tea, Tea Time and pretty much everything to do with tea and I did not even know about today so thank you to Madelon for poining it out and for sharing these wonderful photos!

"Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford is said to have complained of "having that sinking feeling" during the late afternoon. At the time it was usual for people to take only two main meals a day, breakfast, and dinner at around 8 o'clock in the evening. The solution for the Duchess was a pot a tea and a light snack, taken privately in her boudoir during the afternoon."

I became a tea drinker in 2009 and have enjoyed so many wonderful pots of different teas since then. Today Madelon shares her new Our Generation doll outfit All A Flutter. This butterfly inspired outfit is perfect for 18 inch dolls who want a fashion forward and vintage inspired look!

I love the little shoes and the perfectly match sandals!

I do believe that shrugs are going to make a big comeback now with the release of Maryellen and this little shrug would look great with just about any outfit!

Jessica T's Trip To The Signature Studio At American Girl!

Today Jessica T' shares with us her trip to the Signature Studio New At American Girl!
"We visited the Chicago store today and I just had to share the
signature studio dress the my daughter designed!  They have several
iPads setup and they can be used to design  a dress, tshirt and pants,
pajamas or a bag. About 30 minutes later we picked it up!"

While in store Jessica and her daughter did the Maryellen craft shown above and picked up a new outfit the poodle skirt to go with her daughters creation.
