Wishing you a very Happy Holiday Week

Well my friends I have to tell you that we are having another snow storm here in Vancouver. Last week it knocked our internet and cable out which is still not fixed and I have been writing where ever I can find wifi since the 19th. The good news is that I should have access to the internet again in time for the new year. We are moving over the next two days and the new house should have power and internet for the new year!

So for the first time in many years I am going to have to take a few days off here. I have written and published daily for the last 5 years and I am truly sad to have to take a few days off. Please bare with me as I move, settle in and set up in the new place. I will be back on in a few days with some great new posts about the new Girl of The Year, back with more of Madelon's fun finds and Jessica T's Tips...

Celebrating Our 6th Anniversary Today!

It is Christmas Eve and it is also the 6th Anniversary of our Doll Blog.  We want to thank you all for joining us here daily and wish you a very Merry Christmas! I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Madelon who has been a constant contributor to my blog for the last 5 years.

With out her I could not share daily as many of the posts that I do. Her unique talent for finding items for doll play coupled with her selflessness in sharing with us all so we may enjoy doll play that much more is un matched!
Jessica T has also been a wonderful addition to our team sharing with us her fun finds from around the dolly world. Her talent in sourcing us free patterns and tutorials from other like minded doll lovers has added a great value to our readers and I am so very grateful.
Brandy has spent many hours creating and sharing her tutorials with us and the dolly world, this year she launched her own blog Brandy's Happy Home and continues to wow and amaze me!

Together they make up a very special team of doll lovers who selflessly give of themselves to all of us and I would like to thank them for everything they do.
Thank you also to my sponsors who have graciously advertised with us and to all those who have sponsored a give away with us.  Thank you and Merry Christmas to all. May you have a blessed holiday and we invite you to visit us daily here at Karen Mom of Three's Craft blog.

Ornaments As Doll Food A Madelon Fun Find Tip

Madelon was recently in Boston and visited a shop that had some amazing things that can be easily re purposed into doll play items.
From the ornament section Madelon found some lovely items to re purpose for her own Doll Play collections like this teapot! Perfect for doll play and the boxes of tea in the photos above and below.
Tiny boxed teas are perfect to save for doll play don't you think?

There are lots of fun food themed and tea themed ornaments this time of year, you can easily remove the ribbons and hooks and use these in your doll play kitchens!
I can not decide if the soup is my favorite or the taco salad!
The sandwiches are great too!
These are great ideas! Thank you Madelon for sharing your fun finds with us today!

Madelon sent me photos yesterday of her new mini doll find from Our Generation. Mini Haven!
Mini Haven has the most beautiful features and eyes! I am so jealous of Madelon's find!
Her hair to her shoes are spectacular. This is a beautiful doll Our Generation.
Thank you Madelon for sharing photos of her with us today! If you are lucky enough to have an Our Generation Isle at a Target (or Bay store here in Canada) near you, keep your eyes out for Mini Haven!
