Today Madelon shares with us a fun way to Reduce, Reuse and Re-purpose for your dolls with this fun plaid purse!
"In her movie Saige wore plaid shirts. That got me thinking, what could I make with my daughter's old plaid shirt. The pocket made me think-purse!"

"I cut out the pocket and I used a small strip of fabric for the arm strap. I folded it in half and creased it with my finger."

"The strap is attached with a Velcro peel and stick dot!"

The best part is the purse really works as you can un button the purse and fill the inside with everything your doll will need! Don't you just love the bling?

"After reading a doll blogger's review of the My Doll's Life horse, I took another look. For $27 this is a great doll play item."

It has a fake fur cover like the AG horses have, which I really like.

 

I love the attention to detail. Look at the tiny horse shoes!

 

I really like the felt  pink horse blanket and saddle the horse comes with,

As well it comes with reins and two ankle wraps.

 Saige fits so nicely in the saddle!

I made the skirt Saige is wearing from a Fabric Ralf Lauren Napkin.

I chose this napkin because it matched Saige's hair!

I really like this horse! At $27.99 this My Life Horse is a great addition to my doll play collection! Keep your eyes out at Walmart for one to add to your collection!

First Day Of School For Our Kids! Make Madelon's Fun Back to School Doll Craft For Pennies!

Madelon has been so busy making some wonderful back to school items for her dolls and today I am sharing with you her brilliant and economic doll play back to school craft!
"When  we were at Target buying my daughters their school supplies, I saw multi-colored folders for fifteen cents each. I thought they would be easy to cut down for doll-sized supplies."

"I estimated the size I wanted them to be and then cut! Just watch out for the metal prongs."

 So many great colors! You can leave a prong inside and add your own paper for your dolls too!

 

 "When done they even stand on their own! Now you can fill your dolls back pack with a rainbow of folders for school!"

Great work Madelon. These are fantastic! Pick up some at the after back to school sales and save them for a party or sleep over party craft or add them to your advent calender!
