Madelon's Trip To The D.C Store!

Madelon took a trip in to the DC store and sent me some wonderful photos of the new releases to share with all of you.
This is the Spring Purchase With Purchase Dress set that is currently being offered with the hair band and these very sparkly slip on shoes.
While Madelon and I both like the shoes we can't really figure out why it was paired with this dress.
The bitty swim sets are adorable!
Madelon got a great shot of the Ice Cream cart as well.
I love these two dresses and Madelon added the heart one to her collection when she was at the store!

Wonderful finds! I love seeing the spring colors back in the stores don't you? Now for some wonderful spring weather to enjoy them in!
Thank you Madelon for sharing your photos with us today!

Jessica T Visits AG Chicago !

Jessica T was recently in store at the American Girl Doll store and she kindly has shared some photos of her trip! I love this photo of the upstairs area, I would love to have a reading loft wouldn't you?

"These are photos from the Chicago store. It's two stories. Historical, books and bitty baby/twin  on the first floor. Truly me on the 2nd with the hair salon and cafe. Girl of the year has displays on both."
I have long loved the mini dolls and I was so thrilled to see the Mini's showcased finally in such a beautiful way!
We all love the American Girl Dolls Wigs and all the wonderful ways girls can style their hair, having fun accessories like these enhances doll play for girls of all ages.
I am so glad that you can still get Gymnastic items in the AG doll line, Mckenna was such a great doll of the year and I was so inspired by her line. I am glad to see the lasting effect on the dolls collections!
Who is ready for camp? Such a fun set for year round fun.

One of the photos I was very excited to see was the new Ice cream cart. I love the little Popsicle's and the scoop.
I think this is a great playset but Jessica T and I both think that the Our Generation play set is a far better economical deal and has wonderful play potential.
Thank you Jessica T for sharing your photos with us today!

February Is Reading Month! Check out These Doll Sized Books and Madelon's Great Idea!

Madelon has brought to my attention that February is Reading Month and she has a wonderful idea for creating dolly PJ's just for the occasion.

Using baby onsies and some American Girl iron on transfers Madelon has created the perfect Reading Party Sleep over craft!

Collecting mini doll sized books is a favorite of both Madelon and I. We have both got quite a collection and they make for wonderful doll room accessories and when you find them second hand an even better affordable way to build your doll a library!
Thank you Madelon for sharing this fun idea with us today!
I wish Madelon could make me this in my size!

Thank you for joining us today! Grab your doll, your favorite book and a cozy spot to sit and read today!

Our Generation Doll Jamie! A New Member of Madelon's Doll Family and Collection

Today Madelon shares her Jamie Doll, an Our Generation Retro Doll who reminds us both of the AG doll Julie!
I love the face mold that this doll has and I think that Our Generation has put a great deal of effort into improving the features of their dolls. Soft pink cheeks and even more expressive faces then ever before and check out the dolls hair highlights!

Thank you Madelon for sharing this lovely new dolly with us! I love her hair!
