Reader Fawn Get's Her Dolls Ready For Halloween With Patterns By Joan Hinds

Once of my wonderful readers Fawn has sent me the cutest photos of her dolls getting ready for Halloween!

Fawn used Joan Hind's book Doll Costume Dress Up (which is currently offered on The Book Depository for $16.96 You can view it by clicking here and no shipping costs! )

Fawn did a great job on the Pirate don't you think?
What little doll lover would not want this amazing outfit? Fawn knocked this out of the park!
Thank you Fawn for letting me know about this great pattern book. I have put it on my wish list and if you have this book and would like to share your photos with me and our readers please email me at
As with all my posts I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at

  1. Thank you Karen. I'm honored to be included in your blog.

  2. Very nice Fawn! I am trying to teach myself to sew and have made several outfits. Sure wish I had someone to teach me the easier and correct way to do things. I just struggle along the best I can.

    1. Linda, My first try at making dolls clothes was with Joan Hinds' book, "30 Minute Dolls Clothes". I highly recommend it. Her flat construction techniques make it pretty easy. You can also get a DVD tutorial with the book if you wish. You can order the book through the Nancy's Notions catalog or on Amazon. I think you will find that once you start making clothes with her patterns, you will be hooked. Good luck!
