A great stocking stuffer that will add hours of entertainment to your doll play collection is doll sized bedding, I found a great Etsy shop that offers affordable and Embroidered doll bedding perfect for any doll lover.

I love the way this blanket looks and I love the delicate embroidery detail as well as the personal touch of having your dolls name embroidered on the blanket!
Of course the Doll Bedding Boutique also offers more then just blankets they have sheet sets as well starting at only $5.99
and beautifully made reversible comforter sets

*One large matching pink pillow and one cute reversible accent pillow.

*A full sized flannel blanket is included. The blanket will be personalized with ANY NAME.

*A super cute stuffed animal is also included

With more then 55 items listed in this shop it was hard to feature only one item as a stocking stuffer, I loved this bean bag chair as well. Many styles to choose from and only $10.99

Kris of the Doll Bedding Boutique share with me a bit about her shop and sewing background to share with you!

"I've been sewing doll items since I was child. My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 7 years old....I made items by hand sewing and machine for my own dolls and then when I had a daughter, I was so excited to be able to create clothes and bedding for her dolls.
I was introduced to Etsy by a friend who knew about the site and thought my items would be received well by Etsy customers."
Q: How many dolls do you have at home?
A: "My daughter has 7 American girl Dolls... I usually only use Samantha in my listings. She was our first American Girl doll and has always been my favorite. I'm hoping to someday get Julie and would love to use her in my listing. My daughter is in high school now and doesn't have an interested in her dolls anymore, so I guess I'd have to say I would be purchasing Julie for me!!"

Q:What would you like others to know about your shop?
"I take great pride in my sewing and so far have had only happy customers!
I hope to add doggie clothes to my site in the future!"
I hope you will stop by visit the Doll Bedding Boutique
Remember to order early to avoid disappointment this holiday season.

Make a blanket and pillow for your doll "sew or glue"

A really nice way to dress up any doll room or make a girl/dolls day is with a very inviting blanket and pillow.
 SEWING DIRECTIONS
If you have a sewing machine and  have been thinking of pulling it out, here is a great craft to make, easy if you can sew a straight (or straight-ish) line. To make this for a 18 inch doll , make your blanket 21 inches long and 18 inches wide. Cut two pieces of material the same size, pin them right sides facing each other and stitch them together on three sides, leaving one side open to turn your right sides out. then pin the bottom closed and straight stitch it closed. I do this then continue the stitch around the entire blanket giving it a uniform look on all edges. Then make the pillow, I would recommend that you cut your pillow 12 inches by 9 inches and repeat the steps above but before you close the pillow stuff it with fiber fill or cotton balls to the thickness you desire.
GLUE METHOD DIRECTIONS Now if you do not have a sewing machine you can still make a great blanket and pillow  set using the same measurements as above. You could buy liquid stitch or a no sew craft glue and run the glue around the edges of the material on three sides let dry, turn inside out and close the open edge with glue and let dry. Work on the pillow in the same way and you should get very similar results.

You can never have too many pillows or blanket sets for your doll and these would make great birthday gifts or loot bag treats for doll themed parties or sleep overs.
