Madelon's Russian Nesting Doll Souvenir

Madelon went to  the National Gallery of Art in DC to see an exhibit on the Ballet Russe, its costumes and art last summer. With the up coming Olympics in a few weeks Madelon shares her fun find!

The gift shop sold this matryoshka doll as a keychain.

With the Olympics taking place in Sochi Russia coming up I noticed that some of the souvenir pins show nesting dolls.

Canada Mits For The Dolls!

I was with my wonderful mother in law ( I truly am lucky! Wonderful lady!) at The Bay shopping and we found doll sized Canadian Olympic Mitts! Okay will they really are a key chain of mitts but they are perfect for the dolls! Offered at $8 these mitts are such a great fun find! Be sure to pick some up if you are in store or find a Canadian Friend and get them to pick some up and send them too you!
