Doll Tag Clothing's Work Shop Elf Pattern

Today I am so excited to share the newest pattern from Doll Tag Clothing, their Workshop Elf costume! Our very own Jessica T pattern tested this adorable outfit and is sharing her photos and her love of this new pattern!

Jessica T had lots of fun making this outfit for her doll!

"I love the pattern! It has several pieces but it goes together quickly especially since I used the felt option for the pointy bits. I think that you can really customize your Elf by using whatever fabric that you like or even make an Elf inspired "ugly sweater" for the holiday party!"

"I just finished making the Mermaid Tale Costume.  The instructions were clear and everything went together easily.  From start to end the whole thing took about an hour and that was with kids running around interrupting! I think that this is a great costume!"

I have not been lucky enough to find one of these beautiful Karito Kids dolls (pictured in the photo above on the right) but I know many people who have these dolls and are lucky enough to find them second hand. The Dollly World is made up of so many wonderful people and one of these wonderful people happens to be someone I admire and respect so much.  Liese Brouwer, is the wonderful lady and creative talent behind South African Girl and the Doll Tag Clothing Line of patterns sopld on Pixiefaire.

Liese has a passion for doll play, creativity and a talent for designing patterns that are easy to follow and make wonderful play clothes for 18 inch dolls.

ITt was because of Liese's encouragement that I finally picked up the knitting needles and created my first doll sweater.
