Madelon's Valentine Fun Finds, Tips and Suggestions....

Today Madelon shares some tips, fun finds and suggestions with us that are perfect for Valentines day...

"I bought this baby dress size newborn at Target reduced to $5.98 and tightened it in the back. She holds a $1 Russell Stover candy box. This company made candy in the 1950's as well as today. This is the first time I took down Maryellen's hair from her ponytail."

Who doesn't love free and vintage printable fun? Click here for a great website that lets you print out things you can resize for your dolls!

"I love this $2.99 cutter set for Valentine's play. Use the small heart to make cookies and the blue cutter for a gummy bear cake."

Check your craft stores for fun and frugal ways to add to your doll collection.
Thank you Madelon for all these great fun finds.

Madelon's No Sew Skirts and Dresses!

Today Madelon shares with us the skirt she made her doll from a pant leg! No sew and fun, Madelon simply measured the length she wanted for the skirt and using the hem of the leg as the bottom of the skirt she measured up and made a cut! This is a very good idea for any of those stretch type of tights that come home from school with the knees missing! This happens a lot in our house!
Pair it with a blouse you already have (This one is OG) and accessorize for fun!
You can cut it a little longer so you can make it a dress or longer skirt too!
You can make so many fun items for your dolls out of everyday items!
Thank you Madelon for this no sew fun idea!

By simply tightening the waist band, Madelon created a fun flowing dress and the colors are perfect on her doll!
You can easily secure the waist band with a safety pin, fabric glue or even a quick hand stitch!
