So you may be wondering how and what this means for us 18 inch doll lovers....

New Additions to Madi Grace Designs

Madi Grace Designs is one of my personal favorite Etsy shops. I am thrilled to share with you today some of the new items they have in their shop.
The Sweet Shop Cafe/ Bakery is one of my most favorite items to date for doll play. "This set  is made out of pine wood and painted white, this set features a bakery case with two shelves for displaying your doll's favorite cookies, cakes and other sweet treats. There's room for candy jars and canisters too! Paired with the bakery case is a cash register, shelf runner and a small place mat. Also featured in this set is a baker's rack-another great piece for displaying your doll's goodies! Made out of pine wood and painted white, it is backed with wainscoting to add extra detail. There's space for a tea set, candy jars, baked goods, sweet treats and more! Paired with a cake stand in pink, 2 shelf runners and a coordinating place-mat, the baker's rack is sure to provide lots of creative play. The cafe isn't complete without a place to sit, relax and have a taste of those scrumptious treats. A small cafe side table with two cushioned bar stools and a pair of place mats provides the perfect place for enjoying those treats. A coordinating fabric floor rug ties the pieces together into a cozy sweet cafe."
This is a great doll storage display and idea as well it would make a great doll store display!

Patterns from Kotton Candy Doll Fashions

I recently discovered another great Etsy shop offering doll clothes patterns by Kotton Candy Doll Fashions on Etsy.
These patterns are offered at $4.99 and are well thought out and photos accompany each step.
From beginning to end these patterns and directions will help even the beginning seamstress create fashion forward pieces for their dolls.
Shop owner and pattern designer Kristin is a relatively new Etsy shop owner who left her full time career as a Funeral Director to spend time with her young daughters.  Inspired by a book she bought about selling on Etsy, Kristin found her way to spend time with her daughters and incorporate her passion for 18 inch dolls.

"I have only been sewing for a couple of years, but I was determined to open my own shop. I got to work designing right away. In the beginning, it started as a way to make ends meet, but it has turned into so much more that that. It has been so much fun to connect with others that share the same interest. My daughters really keep me motivated. I find that some of the best design ideas have come from my 4 year old. I am very excited about growing my shop and sharing it with them."~ Kristin

In Kristin's shop Kotton Candy Doll Fashions you can purchase patterns together for great savings.
Three patterns for $12 or 5 Patterns for $19
Check out Kotton Candy Doll Fashions and get started sewing something new for fall today!
