Madelon's Our Generation Evelyn Doll Meets The Girls!

There is something I love about Madelon's new Evelyn doll, something that screams Sepetmeber and back to school to me, perhaps it is her hair color, the color of the leaves on my tree out front or her adorable plaid outfit. Plaid for me says September and back to school. Today Madelon is sharing photos of her new dolls in their plaid to make Evelyn feel welcome.

I can imagine them in the hall way of school!

This sweet outfit is completed by the little red Mary Jane shoes!

Maryellen has a 1950's vibe with the shoes! I love saddle shoes!

I also love the boots on Madelon's My Life As Doll, as well as the bright read glasses.
Back to school play never looked so much fun! Having dolls for different companies really does enhance doll play.

Happy Belated Birthday To Maryellen!

Madelon kindly let me know that Maryellen was celebrating her birthday yesterday and due to all the craziness of my weekend I did not get a chance to post it! So Happiest of Birthdays To Maryellen for yesterday!

Madelon has dressed Maryellen up for her party! Can you guess what her skirt is?

That's right! Madelon bought a Mini Tree skirt and has made a lovely no sew skirt for Maryellen!

Maryellen has such a fun story and really is a delightful doll. Madelon found this great outfit for her On Etsy.  "The poodle skirt outfit came from MySewYouCreations. I paid $22.00 for it. It also has a piece of ribbon that  can be used as a belt"

Welcome Maryellen! Madelon's In store Visit!

Madelon went to see Maryellen this morning and has kindly sent us photos for those of us unable to make it to any of the store events!

From these photos I can see that American Girl has done an amazing job of offering girls a glimpse into the past and providing them with fun reproductions and historical items to play with! I love the dinner!

Oh the shoes are so cute! I do love this outfit! Don't you?

I made a point of not looking at or sharing any of the leaked images of Maryellen and her line so for me this is the first time I am seeing most of these items. What do you think of this dress?

Are You Getting Excited For Maryellen?

American Girl posted this on photo of Maryellen on their Facebook page and I was so excited to see it. I have tried really hard not to look at leaked images of the line and I have not shared any leaked photos on my blog or on social media because I really don't like spoiling the surprise. I was so happy to see this though. My mom was born in the mid 50's and I remember seeing photos of my Grandparents home from when she was growing up and this image brought me back!
I am looking forward to seeing more of her collection when it is released, I can not wait to see the PJ's she seems to be wearing and the matching girl ones!
