Repurpose these mini jars into Dolly Summer Drinks!

Madelon is sharing her idea for transforming these mini jars of sequins into dolly summer drinks.
For Under $10 you can make a dozen dolly drinks. Perfect for a party craft for sure! You can even leave the sequins in for color or remove and paint the inside.

You can cut thin straws to dolly height and then use a little hot glue to secure them in place.
Thank you for this idea Madelon! We love it!

Getting Ready For St. Patrick's Day! A Madelon's Fun Find!

Madelon get's us into the St. Patrick's Day spirit with this fun idea for Dolly Food for St. Patrick's day and it will  not break the bank!
"For this craft, I purchased a four leaf clover towel from the dollar store and a set of $1 gel clings."
Just stack two or three on top of each other. I sealed with a glitter Mod Podge ($1 at Target).

They don't have the cling feel any more but still have the jello texture.
Thank you Madelon for this fun and wonderful doll food craft idea!
Use a St. Patrick's Day dish cloth as a table cloth and look for fun doll sized cups like this one at your dollar stores!
Thank you Madelon for these wonderful ideas!

Then she used colorful flower shaped erasers as the hand soap! Such a great idea!

Tea With Thea and Crafts With Aunty Day! A Review of The Sunshine Shoppe Supply Doll and Girl Kits!

Today is my special "Tea With Thea Day", I don't get them weekly anymore as my sister is home on maternity leave but today Miss Thea has graced me with her presence. Today was the perfect day for a tea party and making a doll and girl neck lace with a great kit from  Sunshine Shoppe Supply!
I was asked to review one of these fun kits and I chose the Princess Rose set to make with my niece, she loves the Princess theme and I love the colors in this kit!
This kit was well thought out and the only thing I needed to make it work were a pair of pliers and a pair of scissors! Thea and I are thrilled with how easy this kit was to make and how elegant the outcome was! Dolly and Thea are very happy!

These Doll and Girl kits would make great gifts for the doll lover in your life and would be a great take home craft for any party you host.
There are 14 different sets to choose on Sunshine Shoppe Supply's Website click here to view them all. Thank you Sunshine Shoppe for sending this kit for Thea and I to make and review!

Our Outdoor Tea Party!

This past week my nieces, nephew and one of my young sons had an outdoor tea party and doll play.

The weather was wonderful and we took almost every piece of my doll play collection outside and made a day of it. We set up all our doll play scenes and our American Doll Rooms, which were a big hit!

I set the table for tea, made tea sandwiches, scones and cup cakes, hot and cold tea for us all to enjoy.

After lunch I let the girls all pick out their favorite fabric from my stash and I sewed them each a new dress for their dolls.
Of the six dresses I made that afternoon this one on Hannah's doll is my favorite. Hannah loves her American Girl dolls and Starwars so when I was in California in March I picked up some Starwars Fabric and Hannah was thrilled with her dress and so was I!

We had a wonderful time, the weather was great and it was nice to have my young nieces together. My sister and her 4 children are here visiting from Montreal. Tea parties for us are few and far between.
I will treasure these memories and hope they will too.

So go ahead and take doll play and tea outside. CLICK HERE FOR MY TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN TEA CUP'S & SAUCERS FOR YOUR DOLLS. Make a day of it and remember to invite me!
