Memories of Midnight...

Have you ever loved something so much and completely forgotten about it, until reminded by a smell or a photo? My birthday is this week and I remember loving my Midnight Barbie Horse more than just about anything. I played for hours with her and my western Barbie. I still remember how the horses hair felt, the sadel which was really hard to put on and how much I loved the muzzle of my horse.
I was extremely delighted to find these beautiful photos and this listing in an Etsy Shop called Polly Pocket Plus.  The horse is priced just under $40 CND and about $20 for shipping. It is very tempting especially because of how great a condition she appears to be in.
I had such a wonderful trip down memory lane with seeing this listing. While I do love that Barbie's new horse walks on it's own there is just something so magical for me in this Midnight horse. Take a look for yourself at the listing on Etsy by clicking here.
Thank you for joining me today I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com

Oodles of Horses Still Avalible On The Book Depository.

Do you have a horse and doll lover? One of the things I think American Girl does well is highlighting that love of horses and creating items for their dolls and product line. Growing up I always wanted a horse. I loved My Little Pony (still do) and my niece Trinity is the same. I love this book Oodles of Horses, that American Girl put out in 2010 and it is the perfect activity book and gift for the horse and doll lover in your life. I have had a hard time finding it in store recently but I know The Book Depository has it.  Click here to learn more about this title avalible on The Book Depository..

Madelon Reviews The My Life Horse

"After reading a doll blogger's review of the My Doll's Life horse, I took another look. For $27 this is a great doll play item."

It has a fake fur cover like the AG horses have, which I really like.

I love the attention to detail. Look at the tiny horse shoes!
I really like the felt  pink horse blanket and saddle the horse comes with,

As well it comes with reins and two ankle wraps.
Saige fits so nicely in the saddle!
I made the skirt Saige is wearing from a Fabric Ralf Lauren Napkin.
I chose this napkin because it matched Saige's hair!
I really like this horse! At $27.99 this My Life Horse is a great addition to my doll play collection! Keep your eyes out at Walmart for one to add to your collection!
