Make your doll her own BBQ and A Doll Dining book review!

As some of you may know I have a weekly column on Doll Diaries and for my June 24th post I wrote about a doll BBQ I made out of felt. Here is the link to that article where you can follow the step by step photos to create your own.

For directions please visit my article on Doll Diaries at
I bought the Book Doll Dinning on my trip to New York last April. I loved this book and craft set and highly recommend it.

Many years ago I became a Chef and this book really appealed to me. I loved all the items it comes with and the food ideas inside.
Included inside are food stickers that you put on to either the plates provided or you can put them on fun foam and serve on your own doll dinner wear.
I thought they would be perfect for a doll BBQ like the one I made and they look adorable on the "BBQ grill"
I put mine on brown fun foam I picked up at Micheals the craft store. I also had some green and peach colored fun foam for the peach slices, apple slices and cucumber stickers that were also on the sticker sheet.
I would love to make more fun foam doll food which I have planned for another post so if you are reading this and you are a vegetarian I am working on something for you so check back!

The Doll Dining kit includes some amazing items that are reusable. The set comes with four pink paper plates, coupons, doll sized debit and credit cards, money, menu's open sings take out containers, two paper bags and more.
What I love is there is also a pattern included to make your own doll apron and instructions to make a doll chef hat.
I am so excited to try out the other doll dining suggestions for making food such as spaghetti and meat sauce, salads, breakfasts, pizza and more!
This book would be a fantastic gift for any child who loves dolls and the food network!
I highly recommend it.
As with all my posts I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com
